#36 – Happy 1st Birthday, L!

R and I discussed and we finally decided on a simple family lunch for both families at Li Bai restaurant to celebrate L’s first birthday. As first-time parents, I have to say that we are both rather lazy to do anything big and snazzy like those of our friends. No ball pits or personalized door gifts. Even the cake is just a simple Blackforest from my favourite patiserrie. Nothing fancy like those kiddy cakes. Well ok, there’s one balloon for picture opportunity. Just one helium balloon that’s bigger than L’s face. And it’s really a good deal cos it lasted about two months after the party!
